K. A. Reynolds writes books about intelligent, enchanted children who’ve suffered terrible odds and brave dark and fantastical adventures in strange and unusual worlds. Her first three middle grade novels, THE LAND OF YESTERDAY, THE SPINNER OF DREAMS, and her YALSA / ALA Young Adult honoree book, IZZY AT THE END OF THE WORLD, all with HarperCollins, are out now. Her debut picture book, THE BIG WORRY DAY (Viking Children's), and AVA SKYE ADVENTURER, out with Harper Big Cat, are also out now. Her newest, a picture book titled, ROAR, which features an autistic boy learning to stand up for himself, is slated for release with Viking in fall 2026.
